1<\/p>\n Aaron Rodgers is currently available as a free agentCredit: Getty<\/p>\n Rodgers<\/a> suffered a devastating achilles injury<\/a> in his first game for the Jets, missing virtually the whole 2023 season.<\/p>\n The veteran QB returned last year, but didn’t look himself as New York<\/a> went 5-12.<\/p>\n Despite his down year, Rodgers is still attracting interest.<\/p>\n The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> have not been shy in showing their admiration.<\/p>\n Team president Art Rooney II admitted on April 1 that he would be willing to wait for Rodgers.<\/p>\n The Steelers subsequently did not draft a QB with the sixth pick last month, notably passing on Shedeur Sanders<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rooney recently gave a further update on his team’s wait for Rodgers’ decision.<\/p>\n “A little while longer.
