The New York Giants<\/a>, who were expected to be big players in the running back market this offseason, may no longer be after veteran Devin Singletary agreed to a reduced contract on Friday.<\/p>\n

In 2024, Singletary signed a three-year, $16.5 million deal and, as stated below by Jordan Raanan, was set to earn $5 million this year. Instead, he will earn $1.3 million with $1 million in additional incentives.<\/p>\n

The incentives, per Spotrac<\/a>, are as follows:<\/p>\n

1,100 Scrimmage YDs: $125,0001,200 Scrimmage YDs: $250,0001,300 Scrimmage YDs: $250,00056% Snaps: $125,00066% Snaps: $250,000<\/p>\n

The above incentives appear to be a stretch for Singletary, who is currently the third back behind Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr.<\/p>\n
