Rapoport noted that the $1.75 million salary keeps Winchester as the highest-paid long snapper in the league, a fitting label for the 11-year veteran.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Winchester entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bleedinggreennation.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> in 2013, but didn\u2019t make it to the regular season. He didn\u2019t get another opportunity until the Chiefs signed him in the spring of 2015, and he has been the long snapper in Kansas City since.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">He is one of six Chiefs players who were on the active roster for each of the team\u2019s three Super Bowl victories in recent seasons.
