Sean Payton’s adding the finishing touches to the Denver Broncos<\/a>‘ coaching staff.<\/p>\n The latest addition is former NFL linebacker Zaviar Gooden, according to KPRC-TV’s Aaron Wilson<\/a>. Gooden, 35, previously worked as an “assistant development coach” for the LSU Tigers.<\/p>\n Gooden was picked by the Tennessee Titans<\/a> in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft out of Missouri. After two seasons in Tennessee, he spent time with the Detroit Lions<\/a> and Arizona Cardinals<\/a>. The linebacker totaled 43 tackles in 32 career games.<\/p>\n After hanging up his cleats, Gooden held strength and conditioning roles at SMU and Notre Dame, followed by stints at CRA-Z Sports Training and D1 Sports Training in Texas. He then worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Southern Cal before landing at LSU.<\/p>\n Gooden’s title with the Broncos<\/a> is not yet known.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
