He spent his rookie season on the practice squad and then did not make the Packers roster out of training camp. He landed with the Carolina Panthers<\/a> on their practice squad, appeared in one game in 2025 amnd logged seven snaps on special teams.<\/p>\n The Cardinals signed him from Carolina’s practice squad on Dec. 23 and he was inactive for the final two games of the season.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Kalen King contract status<\/p>\n He is signed through the 2026 season, set to make just over $1 million, which will also be his cap hit.<\/p>\n If he plays out the contract, he will be an exclusive rights free agent in 2027.<\/p>\n Kalen King offseason outlook<\/p>\n He was acquired with an eye on 2026.
