Otomewo was a restricted free agent entering the new league year, but it sounds like he and the Steelers agreed to a new contract rather than a tender.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Otomewo, 27, spent his first season with the Steelers in 2025, where he played in 12 games. He logged nine total tackles and one sack. He previously spent time with the Jaguars and Vikings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Otomewo is the first defensive lineman the Steelers have re-signed so far in free agency.
