This triggered an NFL\u2011record $99 million dead cap hit, a charge on a team\u2019s salary cap for a player no longer on its roster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Dolphins will still pay $54 million in guaranteed money as part of that deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The contract with Atlanta will not be official until the beginning of the new league year on March 11.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 Hawaii News Now.
