SO I’M LEANING TOWARDS HE COMES UP. ALL RIGHT. LASTLY, NFL FREE AGENCY BEGINS MARCH 11TH. HOW LONG BEFORE WE GET A DECISION FROM AARON RODGERS? AND WHAT’S THE LATEST YOU’RE HEARING. WELL I WOULD HOPE THAT IT WILL BE SOMETIME THIS WEEK. I HAVEN’T HEARD ANYTHING NEW SINCE WE LAST TALKED ABOUT THIS, WHICH WAS I WAS HEARING EVERYTHING COUNTER TO THE REPORTS THAT CAME OUT LAST WEEK. THERE WAS GOING TO TAKE A WHILE. YOU HEARD WHAT OMAR KHAN SAID ABOUT BEING PATIENT WITH IT AND HAVING IT NOT DRAG OUT TO JUNE. WELL, YEAH, I WOULD HOPE SO. BUT YOU KNOW, IF THEY DO GET TO THE POINT WHERE IT’S FREE AGENCY TIME OR THE LEGAL TAMPERING PERIOD, AND THEY HAVE ANY VISION WHATSOEVER OF TAKING A QUARTERBACK IN FREE AGENCY LIKE MALIK WILLIS OR MAKING A TRADE FOR SOMEONE. DO IT AND DON’T WAIT ON RODGERS BECAUSE HE’S YOUR GUY. NOW, THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN LAST YEAR WHEN THE MUSICAL CHAIRS STOPPED AND YOU BOTH JUST HAPPENED TO BE LOOKING AT EACH OTHER. THIS IS ABOUT RETAINING YOUR OWN PLAYER, AND TO ME, THAT’S AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT KETTLE OF FISH. SO I WOULD BE MORE INCLINED TO MOVE AWAY FROM RODGERS IF HE ISN’T READY TO GIVE YOU AN ANSWER BY, SAY, THE LEGAL TAMPERING PERIOD.
