CHARLOTTE \u2014 The Panthers made a move to get younger on the defensive line and create cap room on Tuesday, releasing veteran defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old Robinson spent the last two seasons with the Panthers, starting 32 games and collecting 145 tackles and 8.0 sacks.<\/p>\n
The former second-round pick from Alabama has also spent time with the Lions, Rams, and Giants in his 10 seasons in the league.<\/p>\n
