The Chicago Bears<\/a> are getting a second chance to make a deal for Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> edge Maxx Crosby<\/a> and bring him to Illinois, and there\u2019s nothing wrong with second chances.<\/p>\n Crosby\u2019s situation is complicated, but that shouldn\u2019t scare the Bears away. What would scare Chicago away, though, is a deal that\u2019s just too steep to deliver.\u00a0According to Dianna Russini of the Athletic, the Las Vegas Raiders aren\u2019t budging on their trade demands<\/a> for trading Crosby, stating, \u201cTeams that are interested in Maxx Crosby believe the Raiders aren\u2019t going to come off their asking price of two first-round picks at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n Well, if you\u2019re one of those people who would love to see Crosby with the Bears, there\u2019s some good news on that front. So, let\u2019s get into the status of Crosby and where he stands.<\/p>\n Maxx Crosby Odds Go to the Las Vegas Raiders and Chicago Bears<\/p>\n The Chicago Bears are going to be Super Bowl contenders heading into the 2026-27 season, and having an elite edge like Crosby in their squad would only help actualize their dream of getting to the big game.<\/p>\n The oddsmakers in Vegas know what they\u2019re doing, because every time they place a bet, they\u2019re putting money on the line. When it comes to Crosby, according to Action Network<\/a>, they\u2019re betting on the edge landing with one of two teams: the Raiders or Bears.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, March 11, the odds had Crosby with a 32 percent chance of staying with the Raiders. The next team on the tally was the Bears at 23 percent. The third team is the Cowboys at 19 percent. (These numbers change by the minute, by the way.)<\/p>\n So, the odds are literally in favor of the Raiders and Bears to get Crosby. It won\u2019t be a shocker if he says in Las Vegas, but it\u2019s obvious that the team wants to make a deal to trade him for strong picks in the draft.<\/p>\n During the 2025 <\/a>NFL<\/a> regular season, according to NFL research<\/a>, Crosby recorded 73 total tackles, 10 sacks, 28 tackles for loss and one interception.<\/p>\n Teams Drop Out of the Running for Maxx Crosby<\/p>\n In more good news, teams are dropping out of the race to get Crosby. According to Dianna Russini of the Athletic, the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> are no longer going to pursue him, and according to Jeff McLane of the Inquirer, via the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> Central, that it\u2019s \u201cunlikely\u201d the Eagles will pursue Crosby this time around.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Dallas Cowboys are not expected to re-engage in Maxx Crosby trade discussions at this time, a high-ranking source tells The Athletic,\u201d Russini said in a post on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt seems \u2018unlikely\u2019 that the Eagles will be willing to meet the Raiders asking price for Maxx Crosby, per Jeff McLane,\u201d Philadelphia Eagles Centra stated on X<\/a>. But,\u00a0McLane also said<\/a>, \u201cEagles should at least circle back on Maxx Crosby with his value seemingly decreased.\u201d<\/p>\n Now, we wait and see if Ben Johnson and the Bears make a bold move for Crosby.
