I think our experience in Pittsburgh and with the great Steelers organization exemplifies that we were here for a long and a really good time. It\u2019s been an honor to serve the greatest organization in sport. It\u2019s been an honor to be part of this great community, to call it home, [and] for our kids to call it home. We\u2019re in somewhat of a nomadic business, and so we don\u2019t take that for granted that our kids get the opportunity to call Pittsburgh home.\u201c<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s ben an honor to serve the community in which we live, its values that we hold, and it will continue. We appreciate the recognition, but as my wife said, we certainly don\u2019t do it for that. We\u2019ve been extremely blessed, man, to share those blessings. We thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tomlin was the head coach of the Steelers for 19 seasons, putting up a record of 193-114-2. His 193 wins are tied with fellow Steelers head coach Chuck Noll for ninth all-time.<\/p>\n
