The Los Angeles Rams<\/a> might not be done with major offseason additions.<\/p>\n

Having acquired cornerback Trent McDuffie<\/a> from the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> and signed him to a monster extension, the team is now turning its focus to offence.<\/p>\n

The Athletic\u2019s Dianna Russini reports the team is continuing to monitor the status of Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> wide receiver A.J. Brown<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A.J. Brown trade discussions are not dead.<\/p>\n

Last week, I was told the Rams discussed trading for Eagles WR A.J. Brown before dealing for CB Trent McDuffie.<\/p>\n

Russini notes that the Rams and Eagles had discussed the player before they made the McDuffie trade that saw the Chiefs receive four draft picks including the No. 29 selection in next month\u2019s 2026 NFL Draft and talks have slowed down since, but the Rams remain interested.<\/p>\n

Brown\u2019s status with the Eagles has been unclear for some time. While it seems as if both parties would welcome a break-up, the Eagles would want a haul for the 28-year-old Ole Miss product, who remains under contract for another four seasons.<\/p>\n

A native of Starkville, MS, Brown spent the past four seasons with the Eagles following a trade from the Tennessee Titans<\/a> with whom he played his first three pro campaigns. He appeared in 15 games in 2025, hauling in 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. Brown, who has been spotted reading books on the sideline during games, has not be shy to publicly express his displeasure with the way he\u2019s been used and the Eagles\u2019 offensive struggles, something that has put him at odds with teammates, including quarterback Jalen Hurts<\/a>, at times.<\/p>\n

But he remains one of the league\u2019s most productive receivers and the Eagles aren\u2019t prepared to take a hit on his value simply to expedite his departure.<\/p>\n

Among other teams attached to Brown in the offseason include the New England Patriots<\/a> and Denver Broncos<\/a>.<\/p>\n
