ENGLEWOOD, Colo. \u2014 A playmaker in Denver’s secondary has officially signed his deal.<\/p>\n
Cornerback Ja’Quan McMillian signed his second-round Restricted Free Agent tender on Friday, the team announced.<\/p>\n
In four seasons in Denver, McMillian has started 16 games and appeared in 51 contests. He’s notched six interceptions, a pair of pick sixes, 24 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, seven sacks, 195 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and nine quarterback hits.<\/p>\n
McMillian has recorded at least two interceptions in each of the last three seasons, and he’s tallied five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries over that span.<\/p>\n
In 2025, McMillian helped swing several games in the Broncos’ favor. He recorded a game-clinching strip-sack in Denver’s opening win of the season over Tennessee, notched an interception and key third-down sack in a win over the Chiefs and had a pick six in a victory over the Chargers. McMillian also picked off Josh Allen in overtime of the Broncos’ Divisional Round win to help set up Denver’s game-winning drive.<\/p>\n
A former undrafted free agent, McMillian’s seven total interceptions are the most by any Broncos player since the start of 2023, while his five forced fumbles are the second most on the team in that span.<\/p>\n
Other NFL clubs are still able to submit an offer sheet to McMillian until April 17.
