The Athletic\u2019s Dianni Russini said the Los Angeles Rams continue to monitor AJ Brown\u2019s status. The Rams attempted to trade for Brown before they acquired cornerback Trent McDuffie.<\/p>\n
Kyle\u2019s update, 9:58 a.m. PT: The 49ers are re-signing their Pro Bowl special teamer Luke Gifford to a two-year contract for $5.3 million, per NFL Network\u2019s Tom Pelissero. Gifford joins Fred Warner, Dre Greenlaw, Dee Winters, Nick Martin, Garrett Wallow, and Tatum Bethune as the 49ers\u2019 linebacking group. The team appears to be set now at the position.<\/p>\n
Kyle\u2019s update, 1:24 p.m. PT: The Carolina Panthers signed former Packers left tackle Rasheed Walker. This move comes after Carolina\u2019s left tackle, Ikem Ekwonu, suffered a ruptured patellar tendon.
