After five years alongside Joe Burrow, new Baltimore Ravens<\/a> pass rusher Trey Hendrickson will now aim to sack his former Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> teammate during their two divisional meetings.<\/p>\n

Hendrickson chose to remain in the AFC North after his time with the Bengals ended. On March 11, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported<\/a>, citing sources, that the Ravens and Hendrickson agreed to a four-year, $112 million deal that can be worth up to $120 million with incentives.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Schefter revealed that the contract includes $60 million fully guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus. Hendrickson was introduced to the Baltimore media on March 13 and asked what it will feel like to face Burrow this upcoming season.<\/p>\n

\"Joe<\/p>\n

“I mean, Joe is one of the best in the National Football League,” Hendrickson told reporters (h\/t Jamison Hensley of ESPN<\/a>). “Going against quarterbacks is something I like to affect games. I don’t go into it with a high or low standard. It’s my standard. It’s continuing to play the same brand of football. I played in the Super Bowl. I didn’t go into it saying, ‘This has to be my best game.’<\/p>\n

“It’s the standard I’ve carried from Day 1, preseason all the way to the Super Bowl. Getting back to a point like that, it doesn’t matter who the quarterback is or who we’re playing. The wins are important, and if you don’t think they are, they’ll sneak up on you.”<\/p>\n

Hendrickson has played nine NFL<\/a> seasons with the Bengals and Saints, recording 161 solo tackles, 75 assisted tackles, and 81 sacks, per StatMuse<\/a>. Additionally, he has been selected to four Pro Bowls during his career.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old ended the 2025 season on injured reserve following a procedure to repair a core muscle injury, finishing with four sacks in seven games.
