Remember that Tennessee Titans<\/a> cornerback who pretended that he didn’t know who Houston Texans<\/a> Pro Bowl wideout Nico Collins<\/a> was?<\/p>\n He’ll have plenty of time to study on his tape while looking for a new home in 2026.<\/p>\n According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Titans plan to release cornerback\u00a0L’Jarius Sneed<\/a> as a cap cut move to save over $11 million in space for the impending year. Sneed, whom the Kansas City Chiefs traded, struggled to stay on the field for Tennessee, appearing in 12 games over two seasons.<\/p>\n The Titans believed in Sneed so much that they signed him to a four-year, $76 million contract after trading for him in 2024. After starting last season on the physically unable to perform list as he recovered from a knee procedure in May and a lingering quad injury, Sneed played seven games and finished with 26 tackles and three passes defended. By mid-October, he had suffered another injury, thus being placed on the injured reserve and miss the final 10 games of the season.<\/p>\n But back to the Collins comments. Just line that sh– up.\u201d<\/p>\n On Sunday, he finished with four catches for 79 yards, all of which were in coverage against Sneed, en route to a 26-0 victory.<\/p>\n \u201cWho? Oh 12! It was fun,” Collins said after the game. “I respect 38 over there.\u201d<\/p>\n
