With Shane Bowen running a less aggressive defense in 2024, Pinnock\u2019s production declined.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">He signed with the San Francisco 49ers for the 2025. He started seven of 16 games for the 49ers, and now returns to the Giants in a defense coordinator by Dennard Wilson that should be more aggressive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Pinnock was a fifth-round pick by the New York Jets in 2021.
