We have already seen three former tight ends go to new homes.

More recently, three former linebackers got new deals for 2026, and in two cases, multi-year deals.

Inside linebacker Garret Wallow played for Denver in seven games in 2025, recording five total tackles. Wallow finished the year as a San Francisco 49er, and will return to Santa Clara in 2026 on a one-year deal.

Aurora, Colorado, native and pass rusher Jacob Martin played for the hometown team in 2022. In five games with the Broncos, Martin recorded one sack, six combined tackles (four solo, two assisted) and two tackles for loss. In the years since, Martin has bounced across the league, before ending up with the Washington Commanders in 2025. Martin impressed with the Commanders, and has been rewarded by Washington with a two-year contract worth up to $11 million.

Finally, the biggest deal of the three was given to pass rusher Bradley Chubb. Chubb came to Denver to be an up-and-coming pairing with Von Miller when he was selected fifth overall in the 2018 NFL draft. Former Broncos general manager John Elway later called passing on Bills quarterback Josh Allen his worst mistake as GM. Denver traded Chubb to the Miami Dolphins for a first-round pick in 2022. That first-round pick was later traded by the Broncos for the rights to head coach Sean Payton. Chubb was cut by the Dolphins to save cap room this year, and soon after, signed with the Buffalo Bills on a three-year, $43.5 million deal, which could be worth up to $52.5 million.

Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!

Surely, more former Broncos will be on the move in the coming days of free agency.
