Per The Athletic\u2019s Dianna Russini<\/a>, the Los Angeles Rams are continuing to \u201cmonitor\u201d Brown\u2019s status as the Eagles weigh their options going into the 2026 season.\u201c<\/p>\n \u201cWOODLAND HILLS, Ca. There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Rams made the right move to trade for and then extend cornerback Trent McDuffie. An All-Pro with multiple Super Bowl rings before the age of 24, McDuffie is a baller, and after his opening presser, it\u2019s clear why the team wanted to invest so much into him.<\/p>\n If the Rams just traded for him, that would\u2019ve been one thing, but they also handed him a record-setting contract to keep him with the team for the next five seasons.\u201c<\/p>\n \u201cAdding McDuffie cost the Rams a ton. They sent pick No. 29, a fifth and sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and a 2027 third-rounder to acquire McDuffie.<\/p>\n Then, a few days later, they agreed to a mammoth $124 million four-year contract extension to keep him around in Los Angeles for a few more years.<\/p>\n All-in-all, the Rams spent a first, third, fifth, and sixth round pick to acquire McDuffie, and then handed him a $124 million extension worth $31 million per-year.\u201c<\/p>\n \u201cThe secondary is MILES better than last year. Now let\u2019s add the finishing touches. I think the Rams will still draft a CB in the first 3 rounds, and more and more I\u2019m hoping to see Sonny Styles as our first pick.
