The Green Bay Packers have historically prioritized<\/a> selecting high-caliber athletes in the NFL Draft. It\u2019s a key part of how Brian Gutekunst operates, and, more often than not, the best football players are also the best athletes.<\/p>\n

So, today we\u2019re going to explore this approach by running a Pro Football Focus draft simulation, focusing exclusively on the Packers and using Relative Athletic Scores (RAS) as the primary evaluation metric.<\/p>\n

Round 2, 52nd overall: EDGE Dani Dennis-Sutton<\/a>, Penn State<\/p>\n

Dani Dennis-Sutton is a DE prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.93 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 15 out of 2046 DE from 1987 to 2026.<\/p>\n

The Packers don\u2019t know<\/a> if Micah Parsons<\/a> will be fully recovered from his torn ACL in time for Week 1. Meanwhile, Rashan Gary<\/a> might not<\/a> even be in Green Bay once the preseason kicks off. Collin Oliver<\/a> and Barrymore Sorrell are still second-year players, while Dani Dennis-Sutton would bring fresh energy and physicality to the trenches.<\/p>\n

Round 3, 84th overall: CB Daylen Everette<\/a>, Georgia<\/p>\n

Daylen Everette is a CB prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.82 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 50 out of 2779 CB from 1987 to 2026.<\/p>\n

Brian Gutekunst acknowledged<\/a> that the Packers felt a lack of depth at cornerback last season, but he didn\u2019t think the group needed a complete overhaul. In this simulation, Green Bay added Daylen Everette from Georgia in the third round. He\u2019s a cornerback who spent most of his time with the Bulldogs playing on the outside<\/a> and has both excellent size and speed.<\/p>\n

Round 4, 120th overall: IDL Kaleb Proctor, Southeastern Louisiana<\/p>\n

Kaleb Proctor is a DT prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.51 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 101 out of 2046 DT from 1987 to 2026.<\/p>\n

Proctor is undersized compared to the type of interior lineman Green Bay usually targets, but his ability to rush the quarterback is outstanding.<\/p>\n

The Packers could use some beef up the middle. While selecting Proctor would be a bit out of the ordinary, he offers significant upside.<\/p>\n

Round 5, 158th overall, C Logan Jones<\/a>, Iowa<\/p>\n

Logan Jones is a OC prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.56 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 31 out of 679 OC from 1987 to 2026.<\/p>\n

I absolutely love<\/a> Logan Jones as a prospect. He\u2019s fearless as a blocker and could start for Green Bay as soon as Week 1. It\u2019s perhaps less likely now, given that Green Bay forked over a new deal to Sean Rhyan to presumably be their starting center for the next few years; however, the Packers do have a long history of preparing for positions of need before they become positions of need.<\/p>\n

Jones has short arms<\/a>, but his athletic profile is exactly the type Green Bay covets in offensive linemen. I like him so much that I\u2019m already bracing myself. If he ends up with the Detroit Lions, the Chicago Bears, or the Minnesota Vikings, I\u2019ll be in shambles.<\/p>\n

Round 6, 200th overall: CB Tacario Davis<\/a>, Washington<\/p>\n

Tacario Davis is a CB prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.76 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 67 out of 2779 CB from 1987 to 2026.<\/p>\n

The last time Green Bay drafted a cornerback from Washington, it was Kevin King<\/a> \u2013 and, well, that pick didn\u2019t exactly pan out. Davis is a tall, physical cornerback who still needs some development, but he absolutely screams Packer.<\/p>\n

Round 7, 236th overall: QB Taylen Green<\/a>, Arkansas<\/p>\n

Taylen Green is a QB prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.99 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 2 out of 1052 QB from 1987 to 2026. <\/p>\n

With Malik Willis<\/a> headed to free agency, the Packers will need to find a way to boost competition for the backup quarterback spot. Green is very much a project, but one with immense upside. With his size, athleticism, and dual-threat ability, he has the tools to develop into an ideal fit<\/a> for Green Bay\u2019s system.<\/p>\n

Round 7, 254th overall: OG Micah Morris<\/a>, Georgia<\/p>\n

Michah Morris is a OG prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.98 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 5 out of 1748 OG from 1987 to 2026.<\/p>\n

Morris put up one of the best performances ever for a guard at the Combine. He played mostly at guard with the Bulldogs and saw just 28 snaps at tackle, so he doesn\u2019t offer the multi-position versatility Gutekunst typically prefers in offensive linemen. That said, his athletic profile definitely puts him on Green Bay\u2019s radar.<\/p>\n

Round 7, 257th overall: IDL Landon Robinson<\/a>, Navy<\/p>\n

Navy\u2019s Landon Robinson had an incredible day. 4th overall highest RAS score for IDL heading into the draft!(Pro Day was OUTSIDE)

Similar to Proctor, Robinson doesn\u2019t match the typical size profile that Green Bay favors for interior linemen.<\/p>\n

However, Karl Brooks<\/a> is slated to hit free agency next year, and they traded<\/a> Colby Wooden<\/a>. Devonte Wyatt<\/a> will turn 28 at the end of the month and has been inconsistent<\/a>. Adding depth along the interior is a priority for the Packers.<\/p>\n

Robinson was a standout at Navy who will showcase his skills at Pro Day, where all 32 NFL teams are expected to be in attendance<\/a> for the first time in program history. The American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and team captain is a first-team AP All-American with 14.5 career sacks.<\/p>\n
