{"id":812285,"date":"2026-03-14T18:05:38","date_gmt":"2026-03-14T18:05:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/812285\/"},"modified":"2026-03-14T18:05:38","modified_gmt":"2026-03-14T18:05:38","slug":"los-angeles-chargers-sign-former-alabama-lineman-dalvin-tomlinson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/812285\/","title":{"rendered":"Los Angeles Chargers sign former Alabama lineman Dalvin Tomlinson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>March 14, 2026, 11:45 a.m. ET<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Former <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/ncaaf\/teams\/alabama-crimson-tide\/3478\/\" data-autotag=\"6c1f0d70-9904-45ac-a261-5bcd28d2a449\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Alabama<\/a> defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson has reportedly signed a 1-year, $7.5 million deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, per <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/rapsheet\/status\/2032517075063722306?s=46&amp;t=JuPaR8Yw4WERljwILOVYfw\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow\">NFL Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Tomlinson is an extremely talented defensive tackle that has proven to still make a serious impact during the second half of his career. The nine-year veteran will add an instant boost to the Chargers defensive line next season, as Tomlinson was able to put together a solid 2025 campaign while appearing in all 17 games during his time with the Arizona Cardinals.\u00a0The talented lineman recorded 26 tackles, three TFL and a sack during his one and only season in Arizona, as Tomlinson will now turn his full attention towards his role with the Chargers in 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Tomlinson was a superstar at Alabama from 2013-16. The massive lineman played a vital role during the Tide\u2019s 2015 national championship run, as Tomlinson recorded 34 tackles and 0.5 TFL over 15 appearances.
