The Detroit Lions<\/a> added another offensive weapon for quarterback Jared Goff and for offensive coordinator Drew Petzing.<\/p>\n On Friday, the Lions signed former Chargers<\/a> tight end Tyler Conklin. Conklin, an eight-year NFL veteran, appeared in 13 games and started five last season for the Chargers. The 6-foot-3, 248-pound tight end has played in 127 NFL games and started 69.<\/p>\n Conklin caught seven passes for 101 yards last season with the Chargers.
