Former Alabama<\/a> defensive lineman Da\u2019Shawn Hand has reportedly signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Atlanta Falcons, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hand is an eight-year veteran that will bring elite strength and versatility to the Falcons\u2019 defensive line next season. The former Crimson Tide<\/a> star was credited with 29 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception during his one and only season on the Los Angeles Chargers last year, as Hand was a solid contributor despite being in the second half of his career. Hand could quickly prove to be an excellent fit in Atlanta next season, as the former Alabama playmaker will look to continue thriving throughout year No. 10.<\/p>\n Hand was excellent throughout his four-year tenure in Tuscaloosa.
