We are nearly one week into the NFL’s free agency period, and all remains relatively quiet for the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Currently, the only outside signing for the\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0has been running back Chris Rodriguez. However, GM James Gladstone recently explained the\u00a0big reason<\/a>\u00a0behind the Jaguars’ lack of free agency moves.<\/p>\n

Is Sunday the day we see the Jaguars make another addition? If so, who are the best available players still out there?<\/p>\n

Focusing on positions that the\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0should still be looking to address, here are\u00a0Pro Football Focus’<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0NFL.com’s<\/a>\u00a0best available free agents heading into Sunday.<\/p>\n

Best available free agent defensive ends on Day 7<\/p>\n

What’s the need?\u00a0The Jaguars are positioned well here with Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker. However, bolstering the rotation at this position is needed. We may not see Jacksonville spend big at this position, but a low-cost addition could be made.<\/p>\n

What’s the need?\u00a0With Lloyd in Carolina, the starting job next to Foye Oluokun is up for grabs. Ventrell Miller is one candidate already on the roster to fill that role. In his press conference, Gladstone detailed the Jaguars’ plan at linebacker<\/a> without Lloyd. Or perhaps we see the Jaguars explore free agency and the NFL draft to bolster the depth and competition.<\/p>\n
