The Chicago Bears<\/a> need a difference maker at defensive tackle, and Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> DT Moro Ojomo<\/a> could be that guy.<\/p>\n The Bears signed two DTs, Neville Gallimore<\/a> and Kentavius Street,<\/a> during free agency, but both are projected to be rotational depth pieces. The plan for Chicago is to find a young stud to pair with Gervon Dexter Sr.<\/a> during the 2026 NFL Draft, but Harrison Graham of Chat Sports pitched a trade scenario<\/a> sending a 2026 third-round pick in exchange for Ojomo, who had a breakout year behind Jalen Carter<\/a> and Jordan Davis<\/a> in Philly.<\/p>\n Bears Trade Pitch Swaps Day 2 Pick for Eagles DT Moro Ojomo<\/p>\n Graham gave a detailed explanation of the thought process on why the Bears would be interested in a player like Ojomo.<\/p>\n \u201cOkay, how about Moro Ojomo to the Bears? So the Eagles, the rumors have been flying around them. They obviously extended Jordan Davis. The Jalen Carter rumors are out there, but then a new report came out and said they\u2019re actually not trading him. They want to extend him. So let\u2019s say they do find a way to extend him. Well, Moro Ojomo, who\u2019s also extension eligible, is entering the last year of his rookie contract. They drafted Ty Robinson<\/a> last year. They might just run out of defensive tackle budget in Philadelphia because Carter is going to cost a lot.<\/p>\n Moro Ojomo had a really good third season. Third-round pick to Philadelphia for a young, ascending defensive tackle that can play all three downs. He\u2019s good against the run, he\u2019s good against the pass. Last year, he had an excellent year as an interior pass rusher. 49 pressures for Philadelphia a year ago. That\u2019s one of the better numbers in the NFL<\/a> among DTs. He had six sacks as well.\u201d<\/p>\n More on the Trade Possibility Surrounding Ojomo<\/p>\n While the Eagles haven\u2019t publicly shopped Ojomo, it\u2019ll make sense why Philadelphia would want to recoup some draft capital, especially since they already have two monster DTs in Carter and Davis who demand big-time money.<\/p>\n Another thing to add about Ojomo is his 10% pass-rush-win-rate ranked 11th among all qualified defensive tackles in the NFL last season, according to ESPN statistics.<\/a> That\u2019s ahead of notable DTs like Zach Allen<\/a> (13th), Braden Fiske<\/a> (14th), Byron Murphy II<\/a> (16th), and even his own teammate Jalen Carter (18th).<\/p>\n Bears general manager Ryan Poles doesn\u2019t have the best track record drafting in the third round. In fact, he hasn\u2019t hit on any of his third-round selections, so trading one away for a guy like Ojomo would be a huge win for Chicago.<\/p>\n
