PITTSBURGH \u2014 Over the past two seasons, new Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day<\/a> has gotten to enjoy only six wins.<\/p>\n

Jumping from the Tennessee Titans to the Steel City, the eighth-year professional is hoping to put losing in the rearview mirror. The Steelers, as it has been well-documented, haven\u2019t had a losing season since before now-former head coach Mike Tomlin took the reins.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my mindset is just to do whatever I gotta do to put the team in a great position to win,\u201d Joseph-Day said Monday during an introductory press conference at the UMPC Rooney Sports Complex. \u201cIt\u2019s just about being selfless and doing what\u2019s asked of you to help, whatever it is that they wanna do with me. I\u2019m here for it. I just wanna win games again. It\u2019s been a little different two years for me. Nothing but love for Tennessee at all. \u2026 I went from winning so much. I went (from) being in playoffs, I think, six years \u2014 because even with my first year with the Chargers, we were in playoffs \u2014 to kinda going on a little skid.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s really humbling because I got to see the duality of it both, of things that you do to win and things that obviously don\u2019t help you win games. I wanna get back on that winning path.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph-Day<\/a> joins Mike McCarthy\u2019s team on a two-year deal worth $11 million. He won Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams and was also with the San Francisco 49ers when they reached Super Bowl LVIII.<\/p>\n

Joseph-Day believes the Steelers team being constructed fits a win-now approach.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou definitely see the moves they\u2019re making, man, and it\u2019s really impressive,\u201d Joseph-Day said. \u201cThey\u2019re doing a great job, and, again, from my perspective, I see a lot of great (things) that they\u2019re doing to lead us in that direction. But, obviously, it always comes back to us executing and doing what we have to do. But on paper, yes, we obviously look very nice, especially on the defensive side of the ball.\u201d<\/p>\n
