CONCEPCION KNEE SCOPE<\/p>\n
Wide receiver was one of the Steelers\u2019 biggest weaknesses entering this offseason, and they quickly acquired an upgrade. They traded for Michael Pittman Jr. to kick off free agency, giving DK Metcalf a partner. However, they still lack depth at the position, so they could target it in the draft. They met with most of the top players at that position<\/a> at the Combine, including Texas A&M\u2019s KC Concepcion.<\/p>\n NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo reported on Twitter<\/a> that Concepcion recently underwent a knee scope to clean some things up. It\u2019s not a major procedure, and Concepcion is expected to be fine when training camp starts. Therefore, he should still be an option for the Steelers in the first round.<\/p>\n Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion underwent a knee scope described as routine and preventative, sources say. That includes Connor Heyward, who signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. The younger brother of Cam Heyward was a Swiss-army knife in Pittsburgh, playing several different positions.<\/p>\n While Heyward was mostly a tight end with the Steelers, the Raiders are listing him as a fullback. His new number reflects that position change. NFL Jersey Numbers shared on Twitter<\/a> that Heyward will wear 34 with the Raiders. His father, Craig Heyward, played running back in the NFL, and he also wore that number for much of his career.
