AARON Rodgers made an official decision on his NFL future and revealed whether he wants to join the New Orleans Saints.<\/p>\n

It’s been expected that the 41-year-old Rodgers<\/a> will sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>, but the New Orleans Saints<\/a> have also been a team linked with him.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old Rodgers recently answered whether he’s interested in signing with the New Orleans SaintsCredit: Mike Stud<\/p>\n

Rumors began that the Saints could sign Rodgers to replace Carr<\/a>, who announced his retirement<\/a> earlier this month after dealing with ongoing injuries that likely would’ve caused him to miss most of the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

Rodgers also took part in a Q&A session at a Mike Stud concert and said he could be joining a team that “might play in Chicago this year, seemingly an inference that he was referring to the Steelers.<\/p>\n

But the Saints also face the Bears on the road in the 2025 regular season.<\/p>\n

However, Rodgers then shared in the same Q&A session that he’s not interested in rocking the Saints uniform.<\/p>\n

The four-time NFL<\/a> MVP threw cold water on a fan’s question about playing for the Saints.<\/p>\n

“No,” Rodgers said at the Austin, Texas function.<\/p>\n

“That’s the answer.<\/p>\n

“I’ve played there a couple of times, but no. I’m too old.<\/p>\n

“I don’t want to live in Louisiana. Sorry.”<\/p>\n

Rodgers was then asked if he was signing with the Steelers, and he gave a vague answer.<\/p>\n

“You never know,” he said.<\/p>\n

Still, it’s believed that Rodgers will pen a contract with the Steelers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The iconic franchise led by Mike Tomlin<\/a> usually has four quarterbacks in the summer and currently has three: Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson, and a late-round rookie, Will Howard.<\/p>\n

The Steelers don’t seem to have their starting quarterback solution, and all indications point to a fit with Rodgers.<\/p>\n

As for the Saints, they will simply have a quarterback competition as second-round rookie Tyler Shough, Spencer Rattler, and Jake Haener will battle in camp for the starting job.<\/p>\n

The Saints got to an early start in their OTAs (Organized Team Activities) last week, while the Steelers will begin the workouts on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Both franchises will begin mandatory minicamps next month as the two get ready for the upcoming campaign.<\/p>\n
