CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten dismissed the narrative of a MAGA split<\/a> Wednesday with polls showing President Trump is enjoying 100% support from his Republican base.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes you look at the polling data and there are numbers that just jump off the screen at you \u2013 and this is one of those,\u201d Enten said, as he highlighted an NBC News survey showing Trump\u2019s 100% approval rating among Republicans who identify as \u201cMAGA.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have to be a mathematical genius to know you can\u2019t go higher than 100%,\u201d Enten quipped.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is the 1972 Miami Dolphins,\u201d the data expert marveled, comparing Trump to the only NFL team to ever have a perfect, undefeated season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The polling comes as an unfounded narrative has emerged claiming \u201cMake America Great Again\u201d Republicans \u2013 the president\u2019s most ardent supporters \u2013 are fracturing over the Iran war<\/a>, the release of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein<\/a> and immigration<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Enten noted there are \u201csome Republicans\u201d who disapprove of Trump but they are not part of the MAGA movement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bottom line is this: if you are a member of MAGA, you approve of Donald Trump,\u201d he declared.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Further dispelling the MAGA split narrative, Enten pointed out that the president\u2019s base of support within the GOP is \u201cnot shrinking\u201d but actually \u201cslightly larger\u201d than it was in 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe theme of this segment is \u2018Tucker Carlson Be Darned,\u2019\u201d Enten said, referring to the conservative commentator who has been outspoken in his opposition to the Iran war \u2013 so much so that Trump recently declared, \u201cHe\u2019s not MAGA.\u201d\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThe bottom line is that the MAGA base within the GOP is not shrinking \u2026 If anything, it is slightly larger than it was back in 2024,\u201d\u00a0the CNN analyst explained.<\/p>\n
