Tom Brady didn’t backtrack from his WWE taunting.<\/p>\n

The NFL legend irked the wrestling community by calling the WWE “cute”<\/a> last month. Not even the threat of an RKO <\/a>from Randy Orton appears to have scared off the former New England Patriots<\/a> quarterback.<\/p>\n

Brady went back on the offensive when Sports Illustrated asked him<\/a> how many WWE stars it would take to sack him.<\/p>\n

“All their stuff is so cute and scripted, and they know what’s going on,” Brady said. “In a football game, you don’t know, so they wouldn’t even get near me.<\/p>\n

“Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’d punch those guys right in the throat. They’d probably be crying. There’s no fake BS we do in American football. For those guys, it’d be a whole different story for them.”<\/p>\n

Brady made his initial comments when promoting the upcoming\u00a0Fanatics Flag Football Classic with Logan Paul, an opponent in the inaugural event. The seven-time Super Bowl champion rehashed his “cute” diss when drafting his team in Los Angeles on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The 48-year-old may just be playfully throwing shade at Paul, a WWE star who booked (and pulled out of) a fight with former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell after the podcast clip went viral. It’s also possible he’s joining the fun and working a wrestling angle.<\/p>\n

WrestleMania 42 is in Las Vegas next month. Perhaps the Raiders minority owner could appear at Allegiant Stadium to receive some comeuppance for his frequent WWE shade.<\/p>\n
