EAST LANSING, Mich. \u2013 The Michigan State football program welcomed NFL scouts and personnel to the Duffy Daugherty Football Building on Thursday as the Spartans hosted their annual Pro Day.<\/p>\n
Seventeen players from the 2025 team participated in Pro Day: cornerback Malcolm Bell<\/a>, defensive tackle Ru’Quan Buckley<\/a>, safety Devynn Cromwell<\/a>, defensive end Quindarius Dunnigan<\/a>, cornerback Joshua Eaton<\/a>, punter Ryan Eckley<\/a>, center Matt Gulbin<\/a>, defensive tackle Grady Kelly<\/a>, wide receiver Omari Kelly<\/a>, linebacker Wayne Matthews III<\/a>, defensive back Dontavius Nash<\/a>, defensive tackle Jalen Satchell<\/a>, safety Malik Spencer<\/a>, running back Elijah Tau-Tolliver<\/a>, tight end Jack Velling<\/a>, punter Carson Voss<\/a> and defensive end Cam Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n Gulbin, who was invited to the NFL Combine but did not participate in testing or on-field drills in Indianapolis, was full go on Thursday as he set out to prove why he’s one of the highest-rated center prospects in the draft. He started 11 games for the Spartans in 2025 and was the highest graded center (82.6) in the FBS last season according to Pro Football Focus.<\/p>\n Eckley, a second-team All-American and the 2025 Big Ten Punter of the Year, was also in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine and punted for the scouts and personnel in attendance on Thursday on the outdoor practice fields.<\/p>\n Omari Kelly<\/a>, Tau-Tolliver and Velling caught passes from Central Michigan quarterback Joe Labas during the on-field position drills for the offense in the final group of the day.<\/p>\n Kelly, who caught 105 passes for 1,596 yards and six TDs in his 42-game collegiate career, showed his versatile skill set on Thursday by also fielding punts on the practice field outside. He had 20 punt returns for 233 yards and one TD in career on special teams.<\/p>\n Buckley led the way on the bench press with 32 reps of 225 pounds, while Grady Kelly<\/a> put up 22 reps.<\/p>\n Cromwell had an impressive showing, displaying his athleticism with a broad jump of 11’3″ and a vertical leap of 40.5 inches, numbers which would have ranked first and third among the safeties at the 2026 NFL Combine.<\/p>\n The 2026 NFL Draft is set for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n
