The Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> lost a key free agent to the Denver Broncos on Wednesday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n Until they didn\u2019t.\u00a0<\/p>\n Said free agent is safety Tycen Anderson, who isn’t a household name, but is an integral part of the special teams play for Darrin Simmons in Cincinnati.\u00a0<\/p>\n Anderson reportedly signed a one year deal with the Broncos late Wednesday, according to Local 12\u2019s Yanni Tragellis<\/a> and others.\u00a0<\/p>\n Parker Gabriel<\/a> of the Denver Post later followed up with a report of his own, saying there is no agreement: \u201cNot impossible \u2014 safety depth and special teams is a Denver need generally speaking \u2014 but one source said a deal between the sides is \u2018nowhere close.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Need a news break? He\u2019s quality depth at what has been a rough position for the Bengals since Jessie Bates left, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n Considering Anderson only has a projected market of $1.8 million<\/a> per year, the Bengals letting him get away would be surprising\u2026but neither is the interest from other teams.\u00a0<\/p>\n Losing Anderson would quietly create a pretty big need for the Bengals, so this saga is suddenly one to watch.<\/p>\n
