The Carolina Panthers<\/a> have secured the returns of two more players.<\/p>\n

As announced on Thursday, the team has officially re-signed safety Nick Scott and punter Sam Martin. Scott will be back<\/a> on a one-year pact worth up to $3.25 million while Martin has been locked in<\/a> on a two-year deal worth up to $5 million.<\/p>\n

Scott is set to enter his third season in Carolina, where he has made 22 starts over 28 games. The seven-year veteran amassed a career-high in combined tackles (111)\u2014which helped him also rake in<\/a> the fourth-highest total of performance-based pay amongst all NFL players\u2014while recording an interception and fumble recovery in 2025.<\/p>\n

Martin is coming off his first campaign with the Panthers. He punted at an average net of 40.5 yards and notched the ninth-most attempts inside the 20-yard line (27).<\/p>\n
