{"id":824394,"date":"2026-03-21T03:18:42","date_gmt":"2026-03-21T03:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/824394\/"},"modified":"2026-03-21T03:18:42","modified_gmt":"2026-03-21T03:18:42","slug":"man-sentenced-on-assault-charges-for-2022-whitmer-football-game-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/824394\/","title":{"rendered":"Man sentenced on assault charges for 2022 Whitmer football game shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kejuan Lucas, 24, was sentenced to four to five years in prison this week for the shooting that injured two adults and a Whitmer student.<\/p>\n<p>TOLEDO, Ohio \u2014 A man <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtol.com\/article\/news\/crime\/man-convicted-felonious-assault-2022-shooting-whitmer-football-game\/512-fe03aa91-d2dd-4d86-abc9-14716aca07a3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">convicted earlier this month<\/a> on felonious assault charges for a shooting in 2022 that injured three people outside of a Whitmer High School football game has been sentenced to prison.<\/p>\n<p>Kejuan Lucas, 24, was sentenced to four to five years in prison on Thursday with credit for 250 days of incarceration.<\/p>\n<p>Lucas entered Alford pleas to the assault charges, meaning he did not admit guilt but did admit there was enough evidence against him for prosecutors to secure a conviction.
