Would Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow consider playing flag football when it’s scheduled to make its debut<\/a> at the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028?<\/p>\n

“I’ve always wanted to play in the Olympics,” Burrow said<\/a>, ahead of the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic in which he’s scheduled to compete. “I’ve never necessarily played an Olympic sport before, so when this got announced, I was pretty excited about it.”<\/p>\n

“The opportunity to win a gold medal (is) something that I’ve thought about – a moment like that – for a long time, since I was a kid. I think it would be something very special,” Burrow added.<\/p>\n

Former NFL great Tom Brady appeared on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” to discuss the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, and\u00a0Brady<\/a>\u00a0sent a message to Burrow<\/a> and fellow NFL quarterback Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders, who, like Burrow, won a Heisman Trophy for the LSU Tigers.<\/p>\n

“I texted Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels,” Brady said. “They’re the opposing quarterbacks. I said, ‘You know, I love beating Heisman Trophy winners.’ I was the 199th pick, and I always took dead aim at the guys who were picked way ahead of me. They said, ‘Talk that you-know-what. Bring it on.'”<\/p>\n

Founders FFC will be captained by Brady and Jalen Hurts and coached by Sean Payton. Wildcats FFC will be captained by Burrow and Daniels and coached by Kyle Shanahan.<\/p>\n

The Fanatics Flag Football Classic is scheduled to air live on FOX Sports, FOX One and Tubi from 4-8:30 p.m. Eastern.<\/p>\n

The games will follow modified Olympic style flag football rules, featuring two 15-minute halves with a running clock on a 50×25-yard field.<\/p>\n
