Skattebo was a guest on the \u201cBring The Juice\u201d podcast and was asked by host Frank Dalena if he thought CTE was real. Skattebo said no and called it an \u201cexcuse,\u201d and was similarly dismissive of asthma.<\/p>\n

The Giants running back apologized for his comments, calling them a \u201ctasteless joke\u201d and \u201ca lapse in judgment.\u201d<\/p>\n I recently did an interview and had a lapse in judgment, which resulted in me making a tasteless joke about CTE and asthma. It was never my intention to downplay the seriousness of head injuries or asthma.
