The Detroit Lions<\/a> released a veteran offensive lineman on Monday who has started 103 total games in two stints with the franchise.<\/p>\n

Detroit announced on Monday that they released<\/a> interior offensive lineman Graham Glasgow. The move saved the Lions $5.5 million in cap space.<\/a><\/p>\n

Glasgow is an experienced offensive lineman who can play multiple positions, so he should receive interest from many teams in free agency, including the Buffalo Bills<\/a>, Baltimore Ravens<\/a>, and Houston Texans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Buffalo could lose starters David Edwards and Connor McGovern in free agency, which would be a nightmare. However, signing Glasgow to replace one of the two would be a logical move from general manager Brandon Beane.<\/p>\n

Glasgow has experience playing guard and center, but he fits much better at guard.<\/p>\n

If Baltimore loses two-time Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum in free agency, which feels likely at this point<\/a>, Glasgow is a potential target to replace him. As mentioned above, Glasgow is better suited at guard, but he did allow just one sack<\/a> at center for the Lions in 14 starts in 2025.<\/p>\n

Houston just traded away center Juice Scruggs<\/a> to the Lions for running back David Montgomery, and starting right guard Ed Ingram will also be a free agent, so Glasgow could become a premier target for Houston general manager Nick Caserio.<\/p>\n

Overall, Glasgow shouldn’t have a problem finding a new home. He can still be a valuable player, and the Bills, Ravens, and Texans could use him to fill a need on their offensive lines.<\/p>\n
