The Colts this season will wear a black jersey patch (pictured above) to honor Owner and CEO Jim Irsay.<\/p>\n
The patch features Irsay’s initials and his signature, with a trademark smiley face on it. Irsay included the smiley face when signing autographs for fans on everything from footballs and photos to $100 bills.<\/p>\n
The patch also features seven grommets, tying in the seven grommets that adorn the Colts’ iconic horseshoe logo.<\/p>\n
