Randall of Pro Football & Sports Network projects the team landing a high-impact weapon for quarterback Brock Purdy.

In his full seven-round mock draft, Randall has a highly touted prospect slipping to San Francisco at No. 27 overall: former Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who impressed evaluators with his standout performance at the NFL Scouting Combine.

“I’m truly fascinated by where San Francisco would turn here,” Randall wrote. “Do they opt for other pass-catchers in the form of receivers Omar Cooper Jr., KC Concepcion, or Denzel Boston? Or maybe it’s an offensive tackle in the form of Blake Miller or Max Iheanachor.

“Any one of those five names is a genuine candidate. But man, beyond the excitement of the player in the system, the addition of Sadiq feels like a necessity more than many realize.”

A former four-star recruit, Sadiq spent three seasons at Oregon and broke out in 2025. He totaled 51 receptions for 560 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns, earning Big Ten Tight End of the Year honors and first-team All-Big Ten recognition.

Across his three collegiate seasons, Sadiq recorded 80 receptions for 892 yards and 11 touchdowns, according to Sports Reference. He also added nine carries for 42 rushing yards.

“The future of left tackle Trent Williams is certainly in limbo,” Randall continued. As is the future of George Kittle after a season-ending injury joined a list of injuries that unfortunately continues to lengthen. It’s tough to pass on Kittle’s successor given what we know about the position’s importance in the offense.”

Sadiq ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine—the fastest time by a tight end at the event since at least 2003.

49ers address offensive line in Round 2

Randall has San Francisco turning to the offensive line in the second round, selecting former Northwestern tackle Caleb Tiernan. This pick could be key for the team with Trent Williams’ future—immediate and long-term—unclear.

“This feels like a must for San Francisco, especially if they don’t go tackle
with their first-round pick,” Randall wrote. “Caleb Tiernan is an intriguing swing tackle prospect at 6’8″, 323 pounds with excellent jumping marks at the NFL Combine (35 ½” vertical leap, 9’3″ broad jump).”

49ers add four players in Round 4

The 49ers do not own a third-round pick after trading for former Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa. However, they hold four selections in the fourth round, which round out their 2026 draft class.

At No. 127 overall, Randall projects San Francisco selecting former USC defensive end Anthony Lucas.

With the No. 133 pick—the first of three compensatory selections—the 49ers are projected to take former Missouri defensive tackle Chris McClellan.

Finally, San Francisco closes out the draft with back-to-back picks at Nos. 138 and 139, adding former Michigan State center Matt Gulbin and former Baylor wide receiver Josh Cameron, respectively.

The San Francisco 49ers could target an offensive playmaker in the 2026 NFL Draft, and T.J.
