Although most NFL executives and scouts didn’t expect Tyson to participate during pro day season, the finality of his absence is noteworthy.

At full health, Tyson is arguably the most talented pass-catcher in this year’s draft class, but a troubling issue hangs over every team’s head: injury concerns. After all, he struggled to stay on the field throughout his four-year NCAA career.

The injuries began to hamper the explosive wideout as a Colorado freshman in 2022, when he suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and PCL. After playing only three games in 2023, he suffered a broken collarbone in 2024, and last season, he missed four games due to a separate hamstring issue.

This past season, Tyson missed four games due to a hamstring injury suffered in October. After returning on Nov. 22, he reaggravated the hammy, forcing him to miss the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.

Now, NFL teams can’t gather additional intel thanks to his pro day unavailability.

While his talent is undeniable, this undoubted injury history will certainly have teams thinking twice before selecting wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, including the New York Jets at No. 16 and perhaps thereafter.

One of the most polarizing prospects in this year’s NFL draft is Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson,…

[2026
331,7,3228,255,6,15,1967,3231,3234
0":"post-828431","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-football","8":"tag-college-football","9":"tag-football","10":"tag-free-content","11":"tag-new-york-jets","12":"tag-nfl","13":"tag-nfl-draft","14":"tag-nfl-scouting-combine","15":"tag-ny-jets-news","16":"tag-standard
["GET
