Among the numerous additions that the\u00a0Indianapolis Colts<\/a>\u00a0have made in free agency, GM Chris Ballard boosted the cornerback depth by signing Cam Taylor-Britt.<\/p>\n A second-round draft pick by the Bengals in 2022, Taylor-Britt played his first four NFL seasons under now-Colts<\/a>‘ defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo.<\/p>\n Through his first two seasons, Taylor-Britt surrendered a completion rate of just 54%. He’s had strong ball production in his career as well, recording 38 passes defensed<\/a>\u00a0with seven interceptions.<\/p>\n He has been quite effective in man coverage, as Zach Hicks<\/a> noted recently, which is an important element to playing cornerback in Anarumo’s defense.<\/p>\n “I think it’s his scheme,” Taylor-Britt said of playing under Anarumo, via Colts.com<\/a>. “He knows my kind of gameplay and how tough that he loves his corners. He’s been penalized 16 times during that span and allowed a completion rate of 66%, per PFF<\/a>.<\/p>\n Over his career, Taylor-Britt has seemingly been boom or bust, either limiting the opponent to very little or allowing a big play. He’s surrendered 14.6 yards per catch in his four NFL seasons.<\/p>\n
