It would appear that the Arizona Cardinals<\/a> are basically done with their work in free agency. They have signed new players at almost every position group, leaving only outside linebacker and cornerback alone.<\/p>\n And with free agency largely over, the Cardinals still have a ton of space under the salary cap.<\/p>\n According to Over the Cap<\/a> at the time this was published, the Cardinals have the fourth-most cap space in the NFL.<\/p>\n How much cap space do the Cardinals have?<\/p>\n Two weeks after the start of free agency, the Cardinals are $40.9 million under the salary cap, having 76 players under contract.<\/p>\n Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!<\/a><\/p>\n That is the fourth-most cap space.<\/p>\n The top three?<\/p>\n Tennessee Titans: $63.5 millionWashington Commanders: $49.4 millionLos Angeles Chargers: $48.7 million<\/p>\n If we rank “effective cap space,” which takes into account the amount teams will need to sign their 2026 draft picks, the Cardinals drop from fourth to fifth, with the Seattle Seahawks passing them. The Cardinals have $29.4 million in effective cap space.<\/p>\n While we shouldn’t expect much more money to be spent, the Cardinals need to leave room for later additions, injuries and potential contract extensions, and any unused cap space in 2026 will roll over to 2027.
