With NFL free agency at a near standstill, we will be evaluating the current state of each\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars’<\/a>\u00a0position group, specifically, where things stand and whether or not more moves need to be made.<\/p>\n Compared to the rest of the league, it’s been a very quiet free agency period for the\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>. GM James Gladstone recently\u00a0explained the reason<\/a>\u00a0behind that, and it has to do with the 2027 compensatory draft picks the\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0are projected to land. I would also guess that the\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>‘\u00a0tight salary cap situation<\/a>\u00a0isn’t helping things either in that regard.<\/p>\n So the best avenue for addressing their remaining needs likely comes in the NFL draft, where the\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0have 11 picks — including four in the top 100 —\u00a0and flexibility<\/a>, allowing the board to dictate which direction they go at each selection.<\/p>\n Up next in our review are the defensive ends.
