It seems pretty clear that the Los Angeles Rams are trying to win a Superbowl in 2026; in doing that, will they still be able to plan for the future? For example, I see a number of articles today expressing that the Rams plan to try and draft an offensive player in the first round of the upcoming draft, but I also see some theories that the Rams could trade back to secure more picks for 2026 and or 2027.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s interesting the direction this team can go. Whereas for a team like the Las Vegas Raiders who pretty clearly NEED to draft a quarterback, or even the Miami Dolphins who may need to add some wide receivers, the Rams have some flexibility.<\/p>\n
But I do wonder if the Rams will have to make a choice to go for it all in 2026, or try to build for the present and future. Sometimes, we can only build for the present or future, not both, but maybe the Rams have a great vision for now and later.<\/p>\n

Now, all they need to do is shore up a few positions of need to truly fortify themselves as a top contender in the NFL.<\/p>\n
