Deebo & Joe,<\/a> the former Defensive Player of the Year told Joe Haden and Ben Roethlisberger that he is in constant communication with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in an attempt to lure him to the Steelers.<\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019ve been doing a lot of talking to Joe Burrow,\u201d Harrison said. \u201cI\u2019ve been conversating with him on a weekly, bi-weekly basis. I talked to him on the phone yesterday. We\u2019ve been talking about him, you know, going up there and talking to Mr. Brown to see what he needs to do\u2026 to maybe get in some black and gold.\u201d<\/p>\n
Roethlisberger replied exactly how everyone rightfully replied, saying that Burrow to the Steelers is highly unrealistic.<\/p>\n
\u201cJoe Burrow to the Steelers? I would call that a pipe dream,\u201d Roethlisberger said. \u201cI don\u2019t think that\u2019s a reality.\u201d<\/p>\n
While nothing is guaranteed in the NFL, the chances of Pittsburgh somehow landing Burrow are slim to none – and even that classification may be giving it more of a sense of possibility that is really there. The Bengals would have to want to trade Joe Burrow, which there is no indication that they would ever want to do that. Additionally, even if they did want to trade Burrow, they almost certainly wouldn\u2019t trade him to a division rival.<\/p>\n
