Mike Tomlin could soon be back on your television screen. The former longtime Pittsburgh Steelers head coach has made a move that indicates he\u2019s interested at least in hearing networks out.<\/p>\n

According to Front Office Sports, Tomlin has signed with longtime sports media agent Sandy Montag, who along with former sportscaster Alex Flanagan will represent the ex-Steelers head coach in potential contract talks with networks and streamers.<\/p>\n

NBC recently parted ways with former NFL head coach Tony Dungy after a 17-year partnership. Fox added Rob Gronkowski on its Sunday pregame show, but that doesn\u2019t mean it couldn\u2019t add a Super Bowl-winning head coach to replace Jimmy Johnson. CBS also has an open seat on its pregame show.<\/p>\n

In January, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Ronde Barber, a close friend of Tomlin\u2019s, suggested Tomlin is done with coaching for good. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of stories out there about Mike coming up and wanting to take one year off and go coach (again),\u201d\u00a0Barber said<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m gonna tell you right now, dude, I think he\u2019s done. I think he wants to be done. Last year, I was in Long Island with him and he told me then. He said, \u2018I think this is my last year.\u2019 And didn\u2019t say anything to anyone else for the entirety of the year.\u201d<\/p>\n

ESPN\u2019s Michael Wilbon believes Tomlin could change the way people digest football.<\/p>\n

\u201cMike Tomlin can reset television as a form of entertainment, football as a form of entertainment on television in a way that no one has since John Madden,\u201d\u00a0Wilbon said<\/a>. \u201cAnd that may be new ways we don\u2019t know about, it may be one of the existing ways with an existing network or platform. I don\u2019t know, I\u2019m not a television executive. But Mike Tomlin, who you have loved to hear talk and talk to for 20 years, you know Mike Tomlin would be great at that.\u201d<\/p>\n
