CBS Sports is pounding the drumbeat for Lavonte David to get a bust in Canton.<\/p>\n

NFL insider and Lavonte David friend Prickly Pete Prisco of CBS hosted a feature today on David\u2019s retirement and talked about how much David\u2019s play dropped the last two seasons (gasp!) and about how the Bucs are in good position to move on. \u201cI think the whole defense kind of felt that last year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Prisco also made a long and loud sales pitch for David to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen smarter heads prevail and they sit there and they really back him up against the great linebackers who have played this game, I think Lavonte David has a real shot to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame,\u201d Prisco said.<\/p>\n

CBS also shared the graphics above and below on David. They\u2019re impressive, and they don\u2019t include his stunning tackles for loss total, which may be David\u2019s greatest case for the Hall.<\/p>\n

Prisco predicted David will need at least four years to get in the Hall, for which he starts being eligible in 2031.<\/p>\n
