Nothing. WR is not a priority. I need a right tackle, edge, LB, CB and safety before I even think about WR. The 2027 draft is supposed to be the WR draft. We should be in position to use our first pick next year to try for a #1.<\/p>\n

I would trade him, but I wouldn\u2019t give up a first. The first this year will be vital for trade back and\/or filling needs. The first next year will be in a strong draft, making me even less likely to want to deal it.<\/p>\n
A second rounder seems nowhere near enough, however, so there would be more pick stock on top of that. My limit for that would materialize as a fourth rounder this year and\/or third rounder next year, in addition to the second round pick this year. I wouldn\u2019t trade any major players.<\/p>\n
My fear is that this trade would involve more of next year\u2019s draft picks. The plus side is those could be more valuable, meaning we have to give up less in draft board early pick value. The practical issue with this is maybe missing out on better prospects. If you keep the 2027 first, you can probably trade back and make it work. But if you give up both a 2027 second rounder and a 2027 third and\/or 4th rounder, that would make it a tough draft.<\/p>\n
