The Miami Dolphins<\/a> added several new players to their roster this offseason, mostly on affordable, one-year deals that will help the team stay afloat as they rebuild after moving on from general manager Chris Grier and head coach Mike McDaniel.<\/p>\n

While the free agents are signed and ready to go, Miami will have a chance to bring in multiple prospects through the 2026 NFL draft. However, it’s unclear exactly which direction the Dolphins<\/a> will go in for the seven-round selection meeting.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Draft Wire’s Curt Popejoy released his newest mock draft<\/a> that has the Dolphins addressing two big needs in 2026.<\/p>\n

With their first pick (No. 11), Popejoy predicts that Miami will take LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane to be their top player in the room as a rookie.<\/p>\n

“Despite the Dolphins need at guard and Vega Ioane being available, we couldn\u2019t pass up the uber-athletic Mansoor Delane who immediately becomes the best defensive back on the Dolphins roster,” Popejoy wrote. “Delane\u2019s elite pro day workout just cemented his status as the top cornerback in the class.”<\/p>\n

Then, Popejoy has the Dolphins adding a starting-caliber guard with their second pick in the first round (No. 30), as he predicts that they’ll take Texas A&M’s Chase Bisontis.<\/p>\n

“Miami tried to use Jonah Savaiinaea at guard last season and he failed miserably,” Popejoy wrote. “Because of this the Dolphins have to reach a bit to land the best guard on the board with Chase Bisontis.”<\/p>\n

Bisontis, 21, earned All-SEC honors once during his time with the Aggies after being a four-star recruit at Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, New Jersey. He also showed off some versatility, playing both guard spots after starting his collegiate career at right tackle.<\/p>\n
