On Wednesday, the Rams announced their game against San Francisco will be played on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 5:35 p.m. PT. The Rams will be the designated home team for that game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">With the 17-hour time difference between L.A. and Melbourne, the game will be played on Friday at 10:35 a.m. local time in Melbourne. It\u2019s taking place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the first NFL regular-season game ever to be played in Australia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The defending Super Bowl champions traditionally open the season on Thursday Night Football in Week 1, but because the Rams and 49ers are in that slot, the Seattle Seahawks will play the season opener the night before on Wednesday.
